The Seaview Bay Beach is a private, recreational facility for Seaview residents and their guests to enjoy a variety of activities.  This beautiful facility is truly one of the centerpieces of the Seaview Community.

One of the primary features of the bay beach is the swimming areas and teaching programs. The bay swimming area is safely buoyed off a large, deep water swim area.  The bay enables a safe and easily accessible entrance down bay steps while the floating dock allows swimmers a place to sit in the bay. Lifeguards supervise the bay front and keep the swimmers safe.  All staff lifeguards are Red Cross certified and prepared to handle any emergency.

Seaview is the only community on Fire Island with a beautiful children’s swimming pool.  This is also lifeguard supervised. The children’s swimming pool is the perfect venue for swim lessons and water enjoyment for young Seaview residents.  Free group lessons are offered Monday - Thursday at all levels. As the children advance, the class advances to the bay where they are taught in a one-on-one experience with an instructor.  Red Cross teaching levels are implemented.

Weekends at the bay beach are all about fun with the family. Each Saturday has a special event for the children. Treasure Hunt, Scavenger Hunts, Face Painting, Arts & Crafts are the popular events. Labor Day weekend has the corn husking and a pizza party that prepares all for the evening barbeque. The bay beach also has a separate launching dock for paddleboards and kayaks. Residents can register with the Association to be able to store their watercraft and safely launch into the bay.

The area offers a complete recreational venue with activities for all ages. A beautiful, creative playground calls to all children. The basketball court is utilized by many active community members. For older adults who enjoy socialization with family and friends, there is a beautifully shaded, seating area facing the Great South Bay.
